Belgian-based online women's magazine LizMag was launched in June 2008. Founder and editor in chief Christelle Derreumaux tells us more about her title.

About the publication:

Who reads LizMag and how many readers are there?
LizMag is a Franco-Belgian consumer magazine aimed at women. It aims to bring out the best of these two countries (France & Belgium). We also cover international subjects in our tourism and culture sections. Lizmag's masculine counterpart is LeoMag.

What subjects do you cover?
Fashion, beauty, tourism, food, jewellery, culture, music, cinema, books, celebrity news and art.

About PRs:

Do you work closely with PRs (e.g. for supplements, round tables, events) or will you keep them at arm’s length?
Yes, for our picture editorials, celebrity interviews and various features.

Do you produce a features list? Why? Why not?
Yes we do. It enables us plan our editorial pictures and celebrity interviews.

What's the best starting point for a PR who wants to tell you about their client?
We would like them to listen to what we ask, and stop sending us pictures when we request product information. I would love them to come up with new proposals.

When is the best time for PRs to contact you and what is your deadline for contributions?
Press days are around 20th for LizMag and around 1st for LeoMag. The best method is to send an email.

About you:

What do you do at LizMag?
Founder and editor in chief.

Do you Twitter? Why, why not?
I am too used to Facebook.

Dead or alive, who would you love to interview? And why?
David Bowie because he is a complete artist. He is not only a musician, you can talk about various artistic aspects.

In a dream world, if you could do any job, what would it be?
