David Reed leaves Data Strategy

Sections editor David Reed has left Data Strategy, the monthly supplement to Marketing Week, having worked on the magazine since its launch in 2005.

Reed was contributing editor until 2008 when he took over as editor. When the magazine became a monthly supplement to Marketing Week in September 2010 he continued as section editor.

Reed has launched The Data Governance Forum ( as a membership organisation for commercial and not-for-profit organisations which are introducing data governance structures and need support, information, networking and representation. He is also working on editorial opportunities around data management.

His departure ends a 19-year association with Centaur Media, having been contributing editor on Precision Marketing from 1992 until its closure in 2009.
