BT announces winners of 2011 Information Security Journalism Awards

The winners of the 2011 BT Information Security Journalism Awards were recently announced by Ray Stanton, Vice President, Professional Services, BT Global Services, and fellow members of a prestigious judging panel.

Freelance Broadcaster, writer and author Misha Glenny impressed the judges with her features in The Guardian and Financial Times and was awarded Information Security Journalist of the Year.

The Indepedent's news reporter Jerome Taylor scooped the award for Best Generic Security Feature of the Year, whilst technology features editor Sally Adee won the Best Privacy Feature of the Year award for her New Scientist article “Keeping up e-ppearances”.

Ray Stanton presented the BT Enigma Award to journalist Davey Winder in recognition of his contribution to information security journalism.
